Get your shred on with Ronix
Founded by some of wakeboarding's pioneers, Ronix was born with the simple goal of designing and handcrafting the measuring stick for riding devices. Since 2005 they've delivered some of the finest wakeboards, bindings, wakesurf boards, life vests, ropes and soft goods on the market.
Having such unique R&D facilities in place has allowed Ronix to make leaps and bounds in the development of their products ultimately paving the way for many of their industry leading innovations and allowing their riders to push the limits of what's possible further.
Ronix's famous test bed - Radar Lake, was originally bought and developed by Herb O’Brien in back in 1972 and while a lot of the R&D for Ronix's products happens out there (as well as Lake Ronix in recent times), their global reach is evident with 30 factories spanning 12 countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australiasia.
Probably the biggest name in wakeboarding. Parks has won countless Pro Tour Titles, X Games medals, Readers Polls # 1’s, been featured in Hollywood films, and had some of the bestselling shapes. He was the pioneer of the 1080 years before anybody else could land it, and more recently been responsible for the camber invasion of board designs.
The only member of the 1260 club has arguably been responsible for inventing more tricks behind a boat than any other rider. He was won every contest, and series many times over, designed some of the most influential and bestselling products over the past 15 + years.
Only a couple times in wake boarding is there a rider that comes about where it isn’t what he does – but how he does it. Somehow The Dom takes the mundane act of doing a deepwater start and somehow it looks “cool” when he does it. Whether it’s skating a mini ramp at Lake Ronix, doing a nose press on a tech flat bar, or booting on the mega ramp – The Dom looks more natural on a board than anybody in our sport right now. If there is a full blown cable video section that we are eagerly awaiting to see it’s the young man from Austria’s.
Julia Rick is a girl from Cologne, Germany who always wants to push the sport in the women’s division. She is the current WWA Wake Park World Champion in both divisions, Women’s Professional and Women’s Features. That proves how she is stepping up the level in women’s riding not only in air tricks but also in rail riding. As the first girl in the world at the cable she has landed the Frontmobe, KGB and Mobe 5.
The easiest way to sum Massi up is he is that guy. A handful of people on the beach, or in a boat – if Massi is there chances are he will have everybody in stitches with a story. Coming from the shores of Lake Como, Italy, Massi is set to be the next biggest all around rider behind the boat, on the cable. If you haven’t heard of the Italian comedy sideshow – you will soon be seeing a lot from his riding. Did we mention he already has a world championship to his belt.
For the past 15 years when you think of wakeskating it's hard not to mention Reed Hansen. He has won more contests than anybody, designed arguably the coolest wakeskating playground with the Battle Falls, and been at the forefront of innovating new tricks.
We're stoked to be bringing you the latest from Ronix and can't wait for you to get your hands on their amazing gear.
